Carl Clarence Clark
Services were held Wed at the Proctor Funeral HOme for Carl C. Clark,
67, who died at 11:05 pm, Sunday evening at Herrick Memorial Hospital
where he was admitted Jan 5. A resident of East Valley Rd, Mr Clark had
lived with a daughter, Mrs Duane Simerson, since last Oct due to
illness. He had been in faiing health since 1962. He retired from the
Tecumseh Products Co. in Jan, 1967, been employed by the Products Co.
since 1952. Born Feb 7, 1900, in Ohio, he married Georgia Ann Sheldon
Sept 29, 1922 in Kenton OH. She preceded him in death in May, 1967. Mr.
Clark was a member of the Church of Christ. Survivors include four sons,
Carl J, 216 E Chicago Blvd, and George H., 8466 N. Adrian Hwy, Dennis N,
rural Adrian and Lawrence E Clark of Brooklyn; two daughters, Mrs
Semerson (rose) of Manchester and Mrs. Ralh (Delores) Lauer of Onsted;
26 grandchildren and six great grand children. Two brothers, jack Clark
of Kenton OH, and Orcie Clark of Fenton; three sisters, Mrs Jessie
Sheldon of Marshall. Mrs Albert (Goldie) Chamberlain and Mrs. Lawrence
(Lucy) Althauser, both of Kenton, OH, also survive. W.H. Driskill
officiated and burial was in the Lenawee Hills Memorial Gardens,
Tecumseh.
